About Total users and user entered in Funnels

Hello Countly

I want to confirm two concepts about Funnels:
One is Total users. Does it refer to the total number of users under a certain app?
The other one is user entered, if I create a Funnels as follows
step1->event1 or event2
step2->event3
Does my user entered mean the number of users who triggered event1 and event2 within a certain period of time?

  • Hi Evan,

    Answering your questions:

    One is Total Users. Does it refer to the total number of users under a certain app?

    Answer: Yes;

    step1->event1 or event2
    step2->event3
    Does my user entered mean the number of users who triggered event1 and event2 within a certain period of time?

    Answer: Entered user would mean all users who performed step1 (Event1 or Event2);

  • Hi Kevin,

    Thank you very much for your confirmation.

    Could you answer me one more question? I'm trying to figure out which table and which field the Funnel page data comes from when I'm using the enterprise edition of countly, but unfortunately, I only find about a month's worth of data in the countly.funneldata table, if I'm selecting the time range is beyond a month, so where will the Funnel page fetch data and display what fields?
