How to use "offline mode" (Known user with pre-tracking) in iOS SDK?

This section of the Countly Knowledge Base describes "Known user with pre-tracking." It's also called "offline mode." I need to use it in my iOS app, but I can't find how to start the SDK in the offline mode and how to switch back to online mode when needed. Is there any documentation on this?

Hello, that would be called "Temporary device ID" in the iOS SDK:
