Filtering multiple custom events by device

Is it possible to get the counts of multiple custom events and filter by device? For example, if I have CustomEvent1 and CustomEvent2, I can make use of Drills in the Countly dashboard, but that only allows me to select one event at a time to filter by device.

What I am looking for is a function to allow selection of multiple custom events, narrow it down to a subset of devices, and obtain the total count of the events chosen. Is there a way to select multiple custom events and filter by device?

Currently using Countly Enterprise

  • Hello,
currently don't think that it is possible.
In drill each even is in separate collection/table so only can be selected separately.

We are working on Cohorts feature, that would allow selecting users who did event CustomEvent1 and did event CustomEvent2 allowing different segmentations for each event. But it is still in development.

  • Thanks for the confirmation. Would adding segmentations to a single event be a viable approach to achieving a similar result?

  • Yes, right you are interested in counts, and Cohorts would mostly deal with users.

Funnels could provide similar approach but only in case of events following one after another.

But for single events, yes you can apply segmentation based on user properties or event segments and get users or times in drill. But only one by one unfortunately.

You can compare multiple events in Compare section under App selection, but unfortunately without segmentation.
