How to use multiple app-keys for Node-JS

For my node js app, i need to send analytic events to two different dashboards.

Hence, I have two app keys.  But when requiring the countly node module, I can only use one instance with one app key.

How can I solve this issue?

  • Hi Peter,

All our SDKs are static and single app oriented so to answer your question we need more context.

Can you please advise when tracking users using nodejs JS, who is the user of the app? Is it the server itself? or user who made the request to the server?

  • Hi Subdoh,

The nodejs app is actually a client and not a server.

This app consists of multiple applets. And each applet has it's own appkey.

    Thanks for your support.

  • Hi Peter,

Still not sure who is the user.
Who you want to see on the Countly dashboard under User profiles?
Would it be servers or users making something?

Either way, you can use something like this:
    https://github.com/Countly/countly-sdk-nodejs/blob/master/examples/bulk_import_example.js

For multi server/multi user kind of thing, you need to provide device_id for each user yourselves. Please let me know if you need further help.
