How Active User is calculated?

Hello, I just take a look at the User analytics and I'm curious about how the "Active User" is calculated.

But I can't find any information about that on the help center

Here's what I see from the User Analytics. Where can I found more information about how the Active User is calculated?

    Hi Christian,

     

    The Active Users metric is calculated by the total number of unique users who have started at least one session or actioned any event in a given time period.

    Please let me know if this answers your question.
